The Franzis Porsche 911 1:4-Scale Flat-Six Boxer Engine Model Kit — Porsche Museum Edition comes complete with very detailed reproductions of the actual Porsche 911 engine’s crucial parts — including the iconic, instantly recognizable air-cooling fan which actually spins.

Also included are a display stand and an electronic module simulating the sound of an actual air-cooled Porsche 911 engine.

The flat-six boxer engine model kit’s transparent casing reveals all of the parts moving and operating internally, such as the belt-activated cams, pistons and shaft.

Best of all, no glue is necessary — everything screws or snaps together with ease. It takes about two very fun, educational hours to assemble.

The boxer engine kit consists of 290 parts, including LED-illuminated spark plugs and a functioning distributor.

The kit also comes with a Collector’s Handbook. Commissioned by the world-famous Porsche Museum in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany, this handbook’s documentation is complete with unique photos from the Porsche Archive, a concise history of this historic and iconic car, and step-by-step assembly instructions.

The final 1:4-scale assembled engine model requires 3x AA batteries — which are NOT included.
