This Franzis Porsche 911 Turbo Model Engine Kit 1:3 Scale with Collector’s Book embodies the original Porsche 911 930 Turbo technological innovation that set a new gold standard among high-performance sports cars.

While turbochargers were employed in past Porsche racecars, this new turbo technology represented by this model engine was the first of its kind for production Porsche sports cars.

This newly modified six-cylinder boxer engine from Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen provided explosive driving performance that, again, set the standard in the mid-1970s.

The construction kit:  The functional, detailed and transparent engine model can be built from approximately 200 individual parts.  Once completely assembled, all parts move just like the real thing. The individual components can be simply snapped together and screwed in place — without any glue.
