The Franzis VW Bus Bulli T1 1:4-Scale Flat-Four Boxer Engine Model Kit with Official Collector’s Handbook comes complete with very detailed reproductions of the actual Volkswagen W Bulli T1 engine’s crucial parts, such as the cooling fan which spins.

Also included are a display stand and an electronic module simulating the sound of an actual VW Bus engine.

The flat-four boxer engine model kit’s transparent casing reveals all of the parts moving and operating internally.

Best of all, no glue is necessary — everything screws or snaps together with ease. It takes about two very fun, educational hours to assemble.

The boxer engine kit consists of 200 parts, including LED-illuminated spark plugs and a functioning distributor.

It also comes with a beautifully illustrated Collector’s Handbook, complete with photos, a concise history of the historic Bulli, and step-by-step assembly instructions.

The final 1:4-scale officially licensed Volkswagen assembled engine model requires 2x AA batteries — which are NOT included.
